Call for abstracts
Speak at SREC26
We are inviting abstracts from researchers, companies, practitioners and institutions working across Somalia's energy sector.
What we are looking for
Submissions are welcome under any of the six strategic themes. We are particularly interested in work grounded in Somali conditions — projects that have been built, programmes that have been delivered, data that has been collected, and lessons that others in the sector can use.

- Policy, regulation and market development
- Investment, finance and carbon markets
- Technology, innovation and digital energy
- Energy access, productive use and resilience
- Clean cooking and sustainable communities
- Skills, capacity building and inclusive energy transition
Who should submit
Researchers and academics, renewable energy companies, project developers, government institutions, development organisations, financial institutions, civil society organisations and independent practitioners.
How to submit
Submissions are made through the online form. You will be asked for your abstract, the theme it addresses, and details of the presenting author.
Submission deadline to be confirmed. We will publish the closing date here shortly. Submissions received before then are reviewed on a rolling basis.
